i can help you nickelback started in california and were not a very popular band until they were givin a chance to tour the world in 2000 and that is when they got there big hit album started..

Well I hope so! Here's a Thank You for you and a little story as short as I can make it!
Am a 44yr old single mom of a 9yr old son! He loves music as I do!
Even when he was in my belly, he always had music around him! I even would place music boxes on my belly at times! With the fact that I have a "little" of a hearing problem I tend to listen to music loud most often. So does son now .. whoops! And I listen to a little of most things.
You guys played in Lafayette Louisiana the day after my son's birthday of turning 9yrs old ... August 28, 2006. The week or two before you were here, we heard about the concert in the car, places to go things to do .. he said: "MOM! I wish I could see that band! I like them! I really like them MOM! He had recently bought the CD: All The Right Reasons, I was familiar with a few of the songs and liked them too! Just so happen, we were next to the Cajun Dome, so I pulled in bought us tickets! HIS FIRST CONCERT! And it had been yrs that I had been to one! We had pretty good seats! Sideline about 6 rows from front of stage if you can imagine that. At the railings though. Needless to say YOU GUYS made MY LITTLE GUYS FIRST CONCERT ALWAYS ONE TO REMEMBER!!!!! "One of you" ( I think the lead guitar player, was to my left of stage as to where I sat ) sent by a band crew member a T-shirt then a few songs later a guitar pic! My son was sooooooooo on top of the world! Personally I could have cried happy tears! All though I had bought him a T- shirt ... What that one band member did was one of the best gifts he received by far that he will always remember! No doubt you ever make it back this way ... We will be there to cheer you on if I can at all be there! Even if you may never notice us again! By the way, I too, enjoyed myself more than I could have ever dreamed of! Aside the hassles to get in! That's another story I'll spare you!
Perhaps upon a return visit you may have a chance of seeing my son playing something / somewhere as well! As he has been known to sit in with cajun bands here and there for the time being, with bigger dreams in his little soul noooo doubt! And I, his mom to always be his biggest supporter and fan!
If I knew how to offer a kindness in saying: If you ever are in the area here again and cared to see a lil cajun culture contact us! It could be fun!

help I heard a version of christmas song little drummer boy a year ago and cannot find band who sang it it was a rock group and my guess was nickleback does anyone know if they ever recorded a christmas album and if not a guess of who i might be thinking of thanks for any help
